I’ve got it covered
Now that the weather is changing rapidly, there is at least one thing I don’t have to worry about; my outerwear. As I mentioned in my previous post, I recently rediscovered my Isabel Marant Atea peacoat. The fit was a little snug last year so I decided to wear my other coats instead. But right now, I am completely smitten with this coat again. I bought it on sale online in 2011 and was surprised by the fit and overall quality in real life. Unlike many other Isabel Marant coats, this classic menswear inspired coat is fully lined and tailored to precision in a woven wool blend. It has been holding up extremely well and it’s warm enough to withstand a typical Dutch winter. When it gets really cold, I’ll pair it with my Acne Canada scarf (review here). It’s nice to know that I’ve got this part of my wardrobe covered with pieces that have been with me for several years.
SHOP THE LOOK
The Acne felt scarf looks so cosy and looks so good with a wool coat! So good that you’re still wearing a coat you bought five years ago, the style was a really good choice.
I love a good Navy Peacoat! I have one from C&A from 5 years ago. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit me anymore. Fortunately, I live in a hot place (year round) and don’t actually need outer wear. I love how beautifully yours fit. Those shoulders! Love!

Haha, I hope my makeup free face didn’t scare you 😉 A bit of mascara en tinted moisturizer would have been a good idea. But keeping it real, I suppose. Black Friday always sounds like a nightmare.
Oh, that Canada scarf! I just sold mine because the lovely green colour just wasn’t right for my wardrobe and because it was too warm for me, but now that I see yours I am tempted again. But I finally bought my Balenciaga, so I wont be doing any more shopping any time soon. Did you hear that the classic hardware has been discontinued?

Winters aren’t that bad, I think it’s because we are so close to the ocean? I remember the winters in Berlin, they were crazy cold!
